MODEL 29 REAR CABLE CONTROL UNITS

The Cat 29 Cable Control Unit, used on some D8's and D9's uses the same discs as the D5 D6 D7 steering clutches.   The 29 CCU uses 7 bimetallic and 6 steel discs per side.

CAT 23 25 27 29 CABLE CONTROL UNIT DISCS

HEAVY DUTY WOVEN LINING WOVEN WITH BRASS STRANDS, DESIGNED FOR REPEATED USE IN SEVERE CONDITIONS, ABLE TO WITHSTAND HIGH TEMPERATURE USE (400 DEGREE)WITH MINIMAL LOSS OF COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION.  THIS IS ALSO A GOOD MATERIAL FOR HAVING OIL RESISTENCE PROPERTIES.
